Welcome to my blog!!

In the Early 1990's, I set a goal for myself to publish a book before I turned 25. I had taken some online writing courses and did very well on them. But alas, life was busy and my dream of being an author was overshadowed by the reality and responsibility of being a young mother and wife!

As it happens I have finally published my first book. 34 years have passed but it's better late than never!

My eldest daughter Aimee and her family gifted me a subscription to Storyworth 2 years ago. It was a one year subscription with the intent to publish once that time had elapsed. I'd worked so infrequently on it that I paid an additional fee to extend it another 12 months. In that additional year I compiled 59 stories which fill 173 pages. I could have continued to write as it seems I have lots to say, and I have rediscovered the joy I get from writing. But once again the time had elapsed, so I made the decision to spit and polish what I had written and send it off to be published. As a short compilation of my memories for my children and grandchildren, I am content with it.

However, as I stated earlier, I have much to share...

So 2026 sees me creating this space to slow down, share stories, experiences, perhaps a bit of advice, art, poems and content associated with my favorite people, crafts and wire art practice.
